not been on here for a bit, and see its kinda quiet so though id pop my build up.

the car is a passat est, b5.5 130pd- were custom code agents so i remapped it, pushing out 170bhp 280ftlbs now.

i have it on airride, leather etc-that build can be seen here:

http://www.ukpassats.co.uk/phpbb/viewtopic...p;sk=t&sd=a

heres a quick pic

some of the stuff i have fitted now are

2 jbl 12" in a custom box,

herts esk componets, with hertzs ep4 4 channel amp,

sony xplod sub amp(very sorry)

then an alpine unit, also have hertz two ways in the rear doors,

i run the lot off 4gauge, but wanted to beef that up.

the new stuff:

2x alpine 6.5" headrest screens tme-m760

1x Alpine IVA-D310R

Infinity Kappa 60.5CS

Optima Red Top battery

AudioControl DQS EQ

Vibe Monobox 3 Amp

0gauge wires with fuses, distribution blocks and splitters

so i set about my headrests with a blade to fit the screens

this is the inital fitting, im going to in fill the foam a little to give it a nice plum look, then i need to run the cable down the seat, so the interior is comming out so i can do it all propperly

decided to try out the mounting for the eq, i wanted it upfront so i could adjust it when listening, so out came the glove box, it just fits, chopped out the back and top and decided to make an hinge, then i looked up [smile.gif] ummmm headlining, shall i cut it, ????if i balls it up its a new one???? oh well

im going to make a bracket for it, that way it'll sit flush.

thats it so far

quick update,

brought the car in around 5 to strip it,

so far the interior is out, the boot is in bits, i have most of the lower dash out, the radio and climate are out, i have switched the climate to the bottom so have had to make brackets and plastic weld it into position, the 0gauge is now run to the boot, and i have moved my airride relay panel to the side so it hidden,

tommorrow, the major wiring starts haha

next update:

headunit is wired up as is the brain, all the memory holds etc so my wires are the right way round haha. power is fused to the boot and the relay panel is fixed in. power feeds for the tv's are ready under the seat , eq is all working with the rca's run over the roof lining.

so tommorrow its a case of wiring the amps up, putting the tv's in the seats propperly then adding the ps2 and finally tidying up and putting it all back together

wow,

done, what can i say -the eq is deffo worth the money, not even set it up propperly and its sounding amazing,

a few crappy pics:

i will fit the ps2 when i get a inverter, along with the redtop battery, need to tidy the headrest install up as im not happy with them, but for the intial fit in and test everything is working, and the air rides still working too which is good haha

Looks good so far, so you fitted the amp straight onto the back of the seat? Have you got any shots of the subs in place and door speakers or have you not done those yet?

Is that same colour or a colour change? biggrin.gif

For info it needs the following doing.

It's got some small dings on the panels that will need sorting
A dent just in front of the rear wheel arch ( been there for ages and isn't that noticable
The rear arches need some rust removing on the lip, but that could be removed, treated then rolled.
The sills need some rust removal ( no idea how bad that is but it's that seam across that always rusts on ibizas too )
The front end will be a different colour as they'd be Mk3 Cupra
Aerial on roof removing and the hole filling.

Then special bits I'd like doing...

I've got a TT filler cap that would be cool to fit biggrin.gif
I've also got a Mk3 Cordoba rear end which is fine, except the rear bumper doesn't fit, so I think it'd need the numberplate recess moulding into the standard rear bumper.
The two rear quarter swage line thingies smoothing.

I'm torn between respray in the original colour or the same Platinum Grey my LCR is in.

So what's that gonna cost you recon?
